Museum Amersfoort brings the city, its residents and visitors together. Through art, heritage and personal stories, we show how past and present are connected.
The museum is a place for stories from the past and stories of today. Well-known stories, but also stories and perspectives that are sometimes still too little heard. This is how we show how the city is changing and how different people experience Amersfoort.
To make this possible, we need the support of engaged visitors, businesses, funds and partners. Would you like to contribute to the museum and the stories of Amersfoort? You can do so as a Friend, Sponsor or donor.
Friends of Museum Amersfoort
Would you like to personally support the museum? Become a Friend of Museum Amersfoort. As a Friend, you contribute to exhibitions, educational programmes and activities for young and old. You also help with the management and preservation of our collection. In return you receive:
- The digital Friends newsletter
- An invitation to a Friends gathering twice a year
- Exclusive activities, such as a guided tour or lecture
Friend
You can become a Friend from € 50.00 per person per year. A Friendship for two people is possible from € 75.00 per year.
Sponsorship & partnerships
Museum Amersfoort works with companies, organisations and funds that want to connect with the city and its stories. Together we ensure that stories from the past and present remain visible and accessible to a wide audience. As a Sponsor, you make exhibitions, public activities, education and special projects possible. We would love to discuss the possibilities for cooperation and sponsorship.
Giving and bequeathing
You can also support Museum Amersfoort with a donation or by including the museum in your will. This makes a valuable contribution to keeping heritage and the stories of Amersfoort accessible for future generations.

“This way you support the museum and benefit from the tax advantages of an ANBI gift.”
Stichting Amersfoort in C, under which Museum Flehite falls, has ANBI status, which means your donation can be tax-efficient. The Giving Act stipulates that donations to ANBIs are deductible from your tax return, so you can receive a tax benefit on (part of) your donation. The condition is that the donation meets the rules of the Tax Authority. This way you support the museum and benefit from the tax advantages of an ANBI gift.
