Opening hours around holidays
Open: Easter, Liberation Day, Ascension Day, Whitsun and Boxing Day 10:00-17:00. On 5, 24 and 31 December the museum closes at 16:00. Closed: Christmas Day, New Year's Day and King's Day.

Museum Amersfoort is located in the historic centre of Amersfoort and is easily accessible by public transport, on foot and by car.
By public transport
From Amersfoort Central Station by bus: Take city bus 1, 2, 3, 4 or 7 and get off at Stadhuis stop. From there it is about a 5 minute walk to the museum.
Walking from Amersfoort Central Station: About a 15 minute walk along a flat route.
By car
Please note: the city centre has limited car access.
The nearest car parks are Stadhuisplein and St. Jorisplein. From there it is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the museum.
Dropping someone off

Parking with a disability card
With a disabled parking card (GPK) you can park in almost all parking zones in Amersfoort. Even with a GPK you need an exemption to enter the limited-access city centre. Contact us at least one hour in advance via 033-247 11 00.
