Their voices give extra meaning to what you see. Sometimes vulnerable, sometimes warm and familiar. Always close.
The audio stories make your visit more intimate and personal. You look differently. You listen more attentively. And you feel a greater connection with the people in the images.
How it works
At the reception desk, you can pick up a free audio player: the green device waiting in the tray. There is nothing to download or scan.
Walk through the exhibition and hold the audio player next to one of the black circles beside the photographs. The audio starts automatically. You then listen directly to the story of the person portrayed.
Simple, easy and accessible to everyone.
Stories that move
The people in the photographs tell in their own words what the images mean to them. About memories, family, growing up, change and small moments that say a great deal.
That is why you are not simply looking at a photograph. You are also meeting the person behind it.
Some stories will make you smile. Others give you food for thought. It is precisely this combination that makes the audio tour special.
An extra layer to your visit
The audio tour gives the exhibition an extra dimension. Image and sound reinforce each other and together create an experience that stays with you.
Take your time, listen at your own pace and let yourself be carried along by the stories behind the images.
The audio player is available free of charge during your visit to Carla Kogelman: A Closer Look.
